Bring some good cheer to a family this holiday season!





For a fifth year, United Way of Greater Cincinnati's Adopt-A-Family program will bring joy to deserving families during the holidays. Many are kinship care families, in which children are temporarily cared for by relatives or family friends with close ties to a parent facing difficult circumstances. The arrangement lets parents focus on their situations, knowing their children are safe and well cared for.



In 2024 alone, 150 children in Hamilton County were placed with kinship care families.



Your support can help these families experience the joy and warmth of the holiday season.



Here's how:

1. Sign up by Oct. 26. Click the blue "Sign Up" button near the top right of the page and select "Adopting a Family Registration." The suggested spending amount is $75 for each family member, but volunteers can contribute gifts in an amount that best fits their budget.
2. United Way will pair you with a family on a first come, first served basis, and provide a shopping list with suggested gift ideas no later than Friday, Nov. 7.
3. Drop off your gifts at United Way from Dec. 10-12.
